Tacoma takes on a "Lokomotiv" from Moscow

These photos are from a "cold-war" friendly between the Tacoma Stars and the Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow in the winter of 1988-89. "I remember the night being frigid cold," says donator Eric Gilbertson, "with temperatures in the teens. I was shocked that 9,000 or os people showed up." The Stars won 7-3.
